How to use Watermark PDF

  2. Enter text or choose a PNG/JPG logo. Set page ranges, position, opacity, rotation and size.
  3. Preview a page, then add the watermark and download. Continue with another compatible PDF tool if needed.

Features and output

The uploaded PDF preview appears automatically; switching pages loads that source page. Text and logo watermarks, seven positions, adjustable opacity and rotation, selected page ranges and a page preview. Logos retain proportions; marks scale down to fit visible page boundaries. Native PDF text is kept selectable.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a logo with a transparent background?

Yes. Choose a PNG or JPG up to 5 MB and 4 megapixels. PNG transparency is supported; the opacity control affects the whole watermark.

Which watermark text is supported?

One line of Latin text and common symbols, up to 80 characters. Use an image containing your text for Arabic or other scripts that the built-in font does not support.

Does a watermark protect my PDF from copying?

No. A watermark is a visible mark over the content. It is not encryption, a signature or access control, and it does not securely redact information.

Can I watermark only some pages?

Yes. Enter page numbers and ranges, such as 2-5,8, or leave the field blank for all pages. Every original page remains in the output.

Privacy, compatibility and limits

One PDF up to 50 MB and 200 pages; output up to 100 MB. Encrypted PDFs, interactive forms and signature widgets are rejected. New outputs do not preserve document-level bookmarks and attachments. Files are processed in browser memory. Requires a current JavaScript-enabled browser with module workers. Download before closing, reloading or using browser back/forward navigation. Watermarks are placed over content; no tiled or background mode is offered. Logo: PNG/JPG, 5 MB, 4 megapixels. Review placement to avoid covering useful information.
